- Northbound A1 motorway (E35).
- Chiusi-Chianciano exit. Turn left and follow the SS 146.
- Continue towards Chianciano Terme.
- Then proceed to Montepulciano, then Pienza.
- Pienza is a total of 30 km from the motorway exit.
